The reagent kit is designed to detect DNA pathogenic and conditional pathogenic bacteria of the Leptospira family in clinical (blood, urine) and pathological material (brains, lungs, kidneys from animals), as well as in food (farsh, sausage, etc.), micro-organisms cultures that are washed off surfaces by DNA amplification with fluorescent separation in "real time" mode.

Leptospirosis is an infectious, natural-choagic disease of animals, birds and human beings that is predominantly acute, characterized by short-term fever, anemia, yellow, hemoglobinuria, hemorrhagic diathesis, hemorrhagic haemorrhage, mucous sheaths and skin, anthonia of digestive organs, a reduction or complete elimination of lactation, and progressive desiccation. The economic damage caused by this disease is very high. Since 25 to 45 per cent of the animals die, the diet decreases by an average of 30 per cent, young people die by 90 per cent, in 20 per cent of cases cows abort the foetus.
