The reagent kit is designed to identify DNA Yersinia enterocolitica in biological material (breads from the rectum, parts of the parenchimatose organs, lymph nodes, feces) and animal products (milk products, meat and meat products, poultry products) by polymeral chain reaction (PCR) with fluorescent decoupling in real time.

Iersinosis is a severe infectious disease in humans and animals of various species, including birds.

Young people are exposed to disease, and they experience it in the form of sporadic cases or enzootic outbreaks. Adult animals usually have no clinical signs of disease; in some cases there may be arthritis, abortion, endometritics, mastitas, diarrhoea.
The main route of infection is alimentar, and it is not impossible to prevent the possibility of infection in contact with the animals concerned, as well as with the animals and animal farm workers who have previously contracted it – the bacteria.
