The reagent kit is designed to detect RNA of the classic pig plague (Classical swine fever virus) in biological material (puff and amydal, feces, parenchimatosis organs, blood, etc.) and products of pork origin by reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction with real-time fluorescent detachment (OT-PCR-PR).

Also available for detection of the PCN virus is a PCR-F-CP-FACTOR reagent set with an electrophoric specification of amplification products in agarose gel (cat. No. FR15918-VET).

The classic plague of pigs (European) is a high-contagious disease caused by RNA, which contains a virus of the Pestivius family, Se. Togaviridae. It is susceptible to all species and ages. The virus is pathogenous only for pigs. The main source of infection is the sick animals that release into the environment the virus contained in secrets and excites. Healthy pigs are infected rapidly through contact with the sick or through care items, mainly through digestive tracts with infected food and water, as well as through respiratory channels and damaged skin.
