The reagent kit is designed to identify the DNA of the Surra (su-fur) in biological and pathological material.

Surra has a wide area of impact, which may be affected not only by horses and camels but also by donkeys, mules, dogs, cats and wild mammals; in the course of the sou-aurus experiments, it has been established that CDS and laboratory animals are susceptible to disease.
