Horse virus is an acute infectious disease, characterized by leopards, conjunctivitis, hare-like age, light-pity, mucous tumours, abdomen and limbs, necrotic lesions of small arteries and veins, loins with abortion; virus arteritis affects horses regardless of age group and sex; economic damage is very significant and is determined by high lethality (up to 30 per cent), the abortion of steeds (50 to 80 per cent) and the reduction in the working capacity of sick animals.
For the early rapid diagnosis of the disease, the PCR is an indispensable method, which is particularly preferable at the beginning of the disease.
