ID Screen® Mycoplasma gallisepticum Indirect
Intended use
Description
Recombinant protein indirect ELISA for detecting antibodies to Mycoplasmagallisepticum in chicken and turkey serum and egg yolk to monitor flock immune status.
The positive results can be confirmed by other methods such as: rapid slide agglutination (RSA).
Note: most ID Screen chicken kits use similar protocols (buffers, incubation times and temperatures).
- Recombinant proteins improves specificity and analytical sensitivity
- The only commercially available set for ELISA to detect antibodies to the 6/85 strain with the detection of seroconversion from 4 weeks after vaccination
- Early detection: 7 days after natural infection; monitoring vaccination (F and TS-11)
- No cross-reactions with other mycoplasmas
- Short Incubation Period: 75 minutes (30-30-15)
- Suitable for testing chickens and turkeys
- Can be used to test egg yolk (easier sample preparation and reduced stress in laying hens)
- Integrated data analysis using IDSoft™ software
- Positive and negative reference sera are available for internal control
