Feasibility of using a test system for disease monitoring in specific-pathogen-free (SPF) laboratory animals (similar to the ID Screen set for competitive multi-species ELISA for anti-nucleoprotein (NP) antibodies) due to high sensitivity
High correlation with the haemagglutination inhibition test
Quantitative analysis: results can be expressed as titres

A methodology is expected for the study of egg yolk of hens without chloroform. Easier sample preparation for veterinarians and reduced stress in animals
