Intended use
Description
Indirect ELISA to detect antibodies to hepatitis E virus in the serum and plasma of blood from pigs and other animals.
The use of genotype 3 virus antigens makes this study ideal for pigs because genotype 3 infects pigs (when ELISA is produced to diagnose HEV virus, humans use gene virus antigens 1).
