Intended use
Description
Indirect ELISA for detection of antibodies by Brucella abortus or melitensis in milk from cattle, sheep and goats. Individual and combined milk samples may be examined.*
An assessment of the diagnostic study of the ELISA set showed that samples of positive milk from cattle were detected in composite samples containing up to 250 samples.
*Note: No official EU data are available on milk samples from small cattle and individual samples.
- Standardization in accordance with Annex C of the European Commission Directive 64/432 and the requirements of the World Organization for Animal Health
