ID Screen® Newcastle Disease Indirect
Intended use
Description
Indirect ELISA for detecting antibodies to Newcastle disease virus (NDV) in chicken and turkey serum.
For diagnosing infection or quantifying antibodies to Newcastle disease virus (NDV) in birds immunised with HVT-NDV vector vaccines.
Note: most ID Screen chicken kits use similar protocols (buffers, incubation times and temperatures).
- Only ELISA validated to monitor rHVT-F vaccines
- Could be used as part of DIVA* plan together with ID Screen indirect ELISA for viral nucleoprotein antibodies in chicken and turkey serum (for animals vaccinated with rHVT-F vaccines)
- High specificity and low level of false reactions
- Short incubation period: 75 minutes (30-30-15)
- High correlation with the haemagglutination inhibition test
- Integrated data analysis using IDSoft™ software
- Positive and negative reference sera are available for internal control
*Differentiating infected from vaccinated animals
